Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is an admired trip in the western region of Nepal. The trek goes through the forests and ethnic villages of the Annapurna Conservation Area of Nepal. It is full of various flora and fauna. Annapurna Base Camp is in the form of the bowl, which is surrounded by the Annapurna Himalayan range. This trip includes beautiful sceneries of the green forests, hills, streams and ethnic villages of Gurung, Magar and mixed communities. Nayapul is the starting place of the Annapurna Base Camp Treks. It takes one and half hour drive to reach there from Pokhara. Before walking through the trail, Trekkers should make an entry to the check-in counter. Then it sets off through the rice fields and reaches to the Ghorepani crossing the Tikhedhunga and Ulleri. A short hike from Ghorepani leads to the Poon hill. The Himalayan views of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Fishtail, Himchuli and the green hill vistas. The trek then heads through the rhododendron forests, reach Tadapani, Chhomrong, Bamboo, Machhapuchhre Base Camp and continually to the Annapurna Base Camp. It is a rugged trail and the alpine landscape in stunning and the sunrise and sunset views are superb. On the returning from the Annapurna Base Camp from the same trail, trekkers can enjoy the hot spring at Jhinu. The trek concludes at Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.

The flora consist oak, rhododendron, birch and Pines tree and the fauna include Leopard, Himalayan Thar, Musk deer and various species of birds. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m).

Day 02:Drive to Pokhara (823m): 6-7 hrs.

Day 03:Drive to Nayapul, trek to Ghandruk (1940m): 1 hour drive, 5 - 6 hrs trek.

Day 04:Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m): 5 - 6 hrs.

Day 05:Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m): 4 - 5 hrs.

Day 06:Bamboo to Deurali (3230m): 3 - 4 hrs.

Day 07:Deurali to Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m). 5- 6 hrs.

Day 08:Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 – 8 hrs.

Day 09:Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m): 5 - 6 hrs.

Day 10:Trek to Naya Pul, drive to Pokhara: 5-6 hrs trek, 1 hour drive.

Day 11:Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 12:Departure.
